THE AWAKENING OF THE HEART

On March 9th, 2011, posted in: TheHeart by | 1 Comment

The awakening of the heart cannot be measured by marketing techniques or formulas.  Nor can it be assumed that less is ‘bad’ when numbers are added up. The heart is measured by the level of radiance, not quantity of people, and that is not measurable through dollars in any account anywhere in the world…

One being whose heart is open offsets untold
numbers of others who are still lost.

Those who are evolving need to ignite, instill, inspire and draw humanity to the source of existence.  This is a process and not a goal; a gentle unfoldment.  There is a Knowing that the Mystery of Existence, the Light itself, will be Seen and Felt by all, some day.  And that means there is no need to convince anyone of anything spiritually for, when their heart is ready, they will Listen.

We are here to inspire, help, and encourage anyone, anywhere,  and any place or time, to Move into alignment with the highest expression of themselves and into alignment with the transformative powers of the Universe.

It is our job to provide an unbiased, innocent and supportive space to find their way home.   People need an avenue to place their attention upon what is Greater through activities and tasks that align to their interests as a soul.  This honors both the Mystery of Life from which we arise, and the unique life that we are living now.

It is impossible to be born without some purpose, even if there is confusion about what that purpose is and how to express it.  And the beauty is that, if we are exposed to those whose hearts are open or opening, our own awakening is stimulated.

Life is, again, a process, not a goal.  It is never-ending.  And this Universe will ultimately complete its cycle of healing when humanity graduates into loving as a state of being, and not manufacturing ways to create attention based on things that change.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO “SEEK?”

What does it mean to “seek”

•    The body mind looks for (seeks) stimulation to feel alive, have a purpose outside of itself.

•    To release the palpable tension that permeates the body mind due to feeling separate from What lives us.

•    To try to feel better separate from and not dependent upon Spirit for your well-being. Wanting to feel better based on your experience here, not in terms of Feeling beyond the sense of “feeling” separate.

What are the qualities of seeking?

•     Are momentary pleasures, temporary remedies and any resulting “good mood” fades away.

•    Are giving answers, adding on to other’s ideas to feel better about who you are vs. being you.

•    Defending your “pleasures and remedies” as if they are an appropriate replacement for Feeling the peace, stillness and Love that is the Divine which – paradoxically – is YOU.

•    Defending your moods and ways of relating rather than being open, non-judgmental and exploring what brings Happiness into your life and expression.

What is “non-seeking”

•     Being who you are: not trying to do anything except being yourself without strain, effort or jumping out of the present moment you are in. Learning how to yield to effortlessness, peace, and innocence.

•     The only way this becomes permanent is through Feeling beyond all the forms and moods, “good or bad,” that distract from learning to Feel the Living Truth.

•     Lasting “aliveness” only occurs with the Divine.

•     When you are being who you are, your Happiness is independent of phenomena, of things that change.

Our body minds have a problem:

They are self-referring, constantly seeking something to try to get rid of the discomfort of feeling separate. This is only corrected when you feel what you are: the arising Living Force of the Universe.

Why are we so resistant?

What we are truly afraid of is giving up our hold on what gives us temporary relief and satisfaction, fearing there is nothing else. So we – paradoxically – fight when permanent Happiness/Truth is shared. Life and expression do not end when you stop seeking and open to what lives everything. What ends is lovelessness, the feeling of being separate. What remains is Love. And Love just Loves, learning to express Happiness everywhere.

May your ‘fight’ to stay unhappy and separate be as short as is humanly possible!!!

THE HOUSE OF MIRRORS

On January 8th, 2011, posted in: Evolution by

In many carnival and amusement park settings, there is a “house of mirrors.”  Within this playground of vision, we are confronted with a myriad of reflections, distorted shapes and unusual sizes of ourselves.  Yet paradoxically, in the midst of this ‘confusion,’ we actually enjoy seeing these images of ourselves, watching how they change as we move, walk or even talk!  We find it humorous and non-threatening as we look at these projected images of ourselves, and will invite others to look at them and laugh!  And, after doing so, we still have a sense of self that feels intact and even refreshed by such explorations!….

The observational ability we use in a carnival house of mirrors – to laugh and play with our reflected images – needs to be developed within our daily lives.  We need to become comfortable with exploring new, healthier and happier ways of being and communicating.   And yet this has proven to be one of the most difficult gestures for us to develop.  It is necessary so we can leave the crisis of self-doubt behind, so we can let go of the repetitive, hypnotic examination of the endless stored images of ourselves.  If we do not, we inflame our shadows of self-doubt, dislike and negative self-absorption.  When we constantly use our house of shadowy mirrors, we intensify self-doubt and block our ability to relax and open to ourselves, let alone to the Greater Whole.   ….

See the house of mirrors as an analogy.  One in which we assume we are just reflections of our behavior, that we are just what is projected into the world.  We falsely believe that our actions, thoughts, behaviors and words are all that we are and build an identity upon it.   We become trapped into thinking about ourselves and constantly worrying about whether we are accepted, approved or loved.   We end up searching, always mentally wandering through life, and desperately looking for some validation of our right to be accepted or loved.  ….

We need to have compassion for ourselves, to relax the tight grip we have upon our ‘failure’ to ‘know it all, right now!’ approach to growth.  We need to be merciful, releasing the constant judgments.  We need to celebrate and support our insights and changes, give up fighting off a deeper integration of truth and change.   Why defend that which is truly not you, but just a “mood of energy” that flows through you into the world?!    Why not enjoy making adjustments that birth a healthier and happier sense of self and relationships, one that allows a happier, cleaner, more profound life to be lived?  Choices which allow your life to be expressed in peace, harmony and happiness, within and without?  A space in which you can begin to open to what you actually are: an Incarnation of the Light?  Doesn’t this seem more interesting than the defense of your footprints in life?  Why not look at your way of walking in life, celebrating all new understandings of yourself and how you interact with the world?  ….

Have you ever experienced the peace that arises when you finally DO quit fighting with a new way of perceiving yourself and accept it, allowing a more advanced and mature way of being move through you?  Now the question to ask yourself: why would you avoid it?…….

The house of mirrors needs to be seen for what it is: a reflective tool used to align you to more advanced ways of loving and being, to purify how you miss the point of life.  To guide you into a space which will reveal what it is you need to learn.  After all, if you haven’t noticed, this is a realm of experimentation, trial and error!
